From our roots in Linköping to becoming the backbone of the European fitness market, BRP Systems has spent over 20 years redefining how gyms, clubs, and leisure facilities operate. Through strategic acquisitions and a relentless focus on cloud-based ERP solutions, we’ve grown from a local startup into a premier Nordic powerhouse, now backed by Nordic Capital to lead the next era of global fitness technology.

2004 - The Foundation

BRP Systems is founded in Linköping, Sweden, with a vision to digitize the fitness industry.

2010 - Scaling Up

BRP signs a landmark contract with Sportlife (today evolved into Nordic Wellness and STC), supporting their growth into major operators with hundreds of clubs.

2017 - Valedo Partners Joins as Owners

Valedo Partners acquires BRP Systems. Under their ownership, the company is transformed into a leading Nordic provider of cloud-based SaaS ERP software specifically tailored for the fitness industry.

2019 - Strategic Acquisition of PastellData

BRP completes its first acquisition by purchasing PastellData. This highly strategic move brings the entirety of the Friskis & Svettis organization under the BRP umbrella, consolidating a previously split market.

2020 - Danish Expansion

BRP Systems AB acquires the Danish software company Sport Solution A/S, establishing a dominant market presence in Denmark.

2022 - Entering the Norwegian Market

The acquisition of the long-term partner Astrofarm marks BRP’s official entry into Norway, integrating specialized local expertise into the platform.

2023 - Nordic Market Leadership

BRP secures flagship customers including Mova (Norway) and Gogo (Finland).

2024 - A New Era with Nordic Capital & Innovation

Nordic Capital Acquisition: After seven years under Valedo - during which revenue grew fivefold - Nordic Capital acquires BRP Systems to accelerate international expansion.

Gamification with Insert Coin: BRP acquires Insert Coin, a loyalty and gamification platform founded by former Candy Crush developers, adding cutting-edge retention tools to the suite.

Finnish Expansion: BRP establishes a dedicated office in Finland to further strengthen its local presence.

2025 - Breaking into the UK

BRP opens its first UK office and signs Life Leisure (13+ sites), establishing a firm foothold in the British market as part of its broader European growth strategy.
